Walnut Creek Wetland Center, Raleigh NC: winner of a GOLD Stewardship Development Award in 2013

The Greater Triangle Stewardship Development Association (GTSDA) honors residential, commercial and public land developments in the Greater Triangle region of North Carolina that demonstrate outstanding environmental stewardship through protection, conservation, improvement, and appreciation of our natural resources.

The GTSDA is a nonprofit partnership that recognizes land developments that go beyond compliance in site design and construction & building techniques in order to protect water quality, preserve natural habitats and open space, and enhance the fabric of the community.

Applications are solicited each year in the fall and are considered on a non-competitive basis. Award recipients are publicly recognized in the spring.
